Business Affairs Manager Named for Lucas Oil World Series of Off-Road Racing

CRANDON, WI -- The Lucas Oil World Series of Off-Road Racing (WSORR) has named an experienced racing administrator, Tiffany Landru, of Crandon International Off-Road Raceway, as Business Affairs Manager (BAM). Landru will be responsible for the day-to-day office administration of the organization.

Landru is a second-generation member of the Crandon Raceway organization who grew up four-wheeling in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. She was educated at the Business College of San Diego in California in the legal clerk and legal secretary fields. After working in the legal affairs for a large Hollywood production company, she held positions in the legal departments of companies in Reno, NV, and Denver, CO, before returning to her hometown. She worked in the Crandon Raceway accounting department for six years and was offered the position of Track Office Manager in 2000.

"Anyone -- racer, sponsor, track worker, media member or fan -- who has contacted or worked with Tiffany through the track office knows she is part of the heart and soul of Crandon Raceway," said Doug Davis, general manager, WSORR. "When you really need help or have issues, you go see Tiff," he said. "Her knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm are major assets to our new organization. She will have many of the same responsibilities at WSORR that she did at Crandon Raceway, helping establish the same sort of world class event she has been a part of for so many years at that track," he added. Davis said one of the first tasks for Landru will be setting up new WSORR offices in downtown Crandon. The WSORR has identified a key location for headquarters operations on Crandon's Lake Avenue main street.

"As track office administrator for more than 20 events at Crandon Raceway I know what it takes to be part of a successful team," said Landru. "I'm absolutely thrilled to be a member of the World Series organization," she said. "I've followed this sport since I was a child and we are holding the heritage and the future of my community in our hands,” Landru said. "I am sure other Crandon track workers, off-road race fans, off-road racers and sponsors feel this same way. What an opportunity it is to take this passion and professionalism to other off-road venues," she remarked. "I know the whole World Series organization is working hard to make everyone in off-road racing feel like a winner again," she commented.

Headquartered in Crandon, WI, the WSORR is based in the undeniable "capital of closed course off-road racing." Davis noted that "open wheel racing is based in Indianapolis as it should be and NASCAR is based in the Southeast, also as it should be," he said. "Closed course off-road racing is now headquartered where it has its strongest and most note-worthy roots -- Crandon," he commented. The Landru appointment gives the World Series six key staffers with a combined experience of more than 135 years of off-road racing management experience. Additional appointments to the WSORR organization are to be named.
